Hi honeybees! I haven't made a post in a minute so I'm really excited that I am right now! I've been SO busy with work and doubles and all these shifts, I'm exhausted. I received a couple cool things in the mail! I ordered some cool new stuff from Coastal Scents I will be reviewing here!
Okay so here is everything I got in the mail from Coastal Scents. *Note - I ordered two things and received an extra mini eyeshadow palette for free! ԅ(≖‿≖ԅ)*
First I'll be reviewing the Warm Palette. A couple of days ago when I bought this it was $9.95 but they bumped it up I guess. (It's still relatively cheap!) Their eyeshadows are always awesome, at least the ones I own. I haven't used many of these yet but so far I really enjoy them! A lot of the lighter colors are good for brow bone shading and I'm really into dark colors so I'm sooo excited to use this more often. There's so many choices.
Next I'll be reviewing the Classic Angle Blush Brush. Alright I'm gonna be honest, I'm not too happy with this one. It was cheap so I should've seen it coming but usually Coastal Scents stuff is cheap and great but this brush isn't the best. It doesn't really spread your makeup well or rub it in good enough (I used it on the Coastal Scents Contour Blush set). It kinda just left a big brown blotch on my face so I had to rub it around with my fingers.
I haven't used this yet but they gave me this cool lil mini palette with cute little colors and I'm in love with it!
On top of the sticker they gave me they stuck this in my package and I have to say I'm pretty happy that they did. There's a lot of shitty things going on in Ghana and I've always wanted to know if there's any way I could help out and here's my chance! About 5 years ago CS and Project Ghana teamed up to create job opportunities for the poor women and men there to work for them for fair wages (more than normal people there would make) in exchange for their work and help at making these products! The things they have listed under Ghana on their site all come from there and are made from those people. If you're interested in learning more about it, they have an entire page and also a video here.
Alright so I ordered some clothes a couple of weeks ago from Hong Kong and they came in all wrong (well I ordered the right size but I ALWAYS forget that they ***no matter what**** will not fit me. Sigh.) Anyways now I'm selling them!!
These two beauties! The bottom one doesn't really look all that great on me considering I'm kind of manly in means of appearance, and the first one just is too tight (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ It was a large but it fits like a medium!!!!
